Wow, my first ever blog :) It was suggested to me by friends that I should share my love of vintage clothing and jewellery with others (perhaps they are getting sick of me talking to them about it lol). I mostly buy from Op Shops, markets, garage sales, and Vintage/Collectable Shows, but I tend to find some awesome bargains :) What I would like to share is some of my great finds and the tips I have learnt restoring vintage jewellery.
This photo is of my last great bargain, this entire lot cost $10 Aus, and had a huge range from the 40's to the 70'; there is Milk Glass, shell, glass, bronze, pewter, mother of pearl, plastic and possibly Bakelite. Many need restoration but more on that later.
